Lori Jiron
Lori Jiron is a pastor’s wife, insurance professional and writes Biblical Studies for women. She loves to encourage, challenge and disciple younger women. Her heart is to train the next generation of women to become all that God has called them to be, a woman after God’s own heart and to love their husband and their children. The Officers of One Team urged Lori to join the organization as an Officer due to her late husband Al Jiron’s role as one of the founders.  Al, as a former athlete, coach, and teaching pastor had a desire to help athletes grow in character by training both coaches and athletes alike to use their sport for life principles. In honoring Al’s life, Lori is anxious to support the process of teaching sound character through athletics.  She was involved in athletics all her life since growing up with a father who was a coach, teacher of Physical Education and avid sports enthusiast, especially when it came to Nebraska Football. When Lori is not teaching, working, or writing, she is enjoying her home, taking care of her little Pomeranian, Michi, and spending time with her family who all live in Colorado.
